Thank you for your support of Deep Dish TV!
For 22 years we have been dedicated to getting alternative information, history,
news and art to community channels and activists around the US and the world.
Deep Dish has kept the promise of the radical media movements of the 60s. We
have built coalitions of producers, activists and viewers to address the war in
Iraq, the prison industrial complex, racism and many other key contemporary
issues. Deep Dish was one of the main organizations that initiated the
Independent Media Center movement. We initiated the television version of
Democracy Now!
We depend on the support of people willing to help sustain our work. If you
can't personally donate funds, please have your local library or university
purchase our programming.
Your donation today will immediately go to support these new initiatives:
1. Nothing Is Safe: Israel's 2006 War on Lebanon-- a series with 18 programs about the July 2006 War.
2. Waves of Change-- a 12 part series about community media around the world.
3. On-going screening/discussions between activists, videomakers, researchers and students triggered by presentation of segments from our historic archive of movement programs on key issues: AIDS, Iraq, prison education, racism, communication rights.
4. Your support will keep our office open-- a key hub in the use of media in the struggle for peace and justice.
