It's a Riot

On February 27, 1987, the Venezuelan government arbitrarily announced austerity measures to make the nation eligible for more loans from the International Monetary Fund. Venezuelans took to the streets in protests that grew into massive uprisings. Febrero is a short animation. Febrero 27 is a documentary treatment of the uprising: an animation relating the events from the peoples' point of view.
