Between 1986 and 2017. Deep Dish TV created films, videos, and storytelling that shed light on conflicts in the Middle East Our website provided an educational archive to better understand the Middle East, including Iraq and Palestine. This temporary website features key documentary series and programs responding to the ongoing U.S. and Israeli wars and occupations in the Middle East, presenting background and context for the 2023-25 genocide of the people of Gaza. As well as the destruction of Gaza's infrastructure and the settler colonial violence and land theft of the people of the West Bank.
Deep Dish TV, was founded in 1985 as a laboratory for new, democratic, grassroots and empowering ways to make and distribute video. . It was a hub linking thousands of artists, independent video-makers, editors, producers, rogramers and social activists. We've distributed over 500 hours of programming via TV & the Internet. Largely due to changes in the independent media landscape, Deep Dish TV quit production in 2019. Currently, Deep Dish TV and Paper Tiger TV are collaborating on an archived site that will make available on line all the series and programs of both organizations. Their physical archives are held at New York University’s Fales Library.
